Lara is a Ph.D. candidate, who is interested in philosophy of physics (modern physics), metaphysics, physics, general philosophy of science and Leibniz. She was born and raised in Shenzhen, China, and is a proud Shenzheness. Prior to arriving at IU, she earned a master’s degree at Northern Illinois University (DeKalb, IL) in Philosophy and a bachelor’s degree at St. John’s College (Annapolis, MD) in Liberal Arts Studies. Lara spends most of her free time seeking her balance via good food, coffee and tea, books, music, yoga, and walking. She worships wisdom, truth, virtue, and beauty.
