Ling Jin is an incoming Ph.D student who will join the HPSC department this Fall. His research interests include applications of statistical methods in social sciences, history of social sciences in the Cold War, general philosophy of science (scientific explanation, unity of science), and history of philosophy of science (logical empiricism, Ian Hacking)
