The minor requires 15 credit hours in History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine, chosen in consultation with an adviser, including:

Selected courses in the department fulfill some of the College of Arts and Sciences fundamental skills requirements, as well as some distribution requirements for: Traditions and Ideas; Social Inquiry; Historical Studies; and Mathematical Sciences and Cognition. All other schools accept approved History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine courses to fulfill some of their distribution requirements.
