Group Scholars Program

The Groups Scholars Program was created as a way to increase college attendance among first-generation, underrepresented students at Indiana University. The program provides academic, financial, and social support to help students attain a bachelor's degree at Indiana University. See our website for more information.

I CAN PERSIST STEM Initiative

ICP is a mentorship-based STEM initiative for women and girls of color to promote STEM awareness and academic and career persistence. Another aim of this initiative is to foster relationships and support systems among women of color (WOC). The program works with WOC across multi-disciplinary STEM fields to engage in professional development and scientific communication skills. Learn more here!

Emissaries for Graduate School Diversity

The goal of the Emissaries for Graduate Student Diversity program is to connect trained IUB graduate students to assist in the various stages of the graduate application and admission process, and provide information and referrals to on campus resources and services. Learn more here! STEM Summer Scholars Institute

The STEM Summer Scholars Institute is designed to provide intensive, full-time summer research experiences for students interested in pursuing a PhD as part of their future academic pursuits. The Summer Scholars Institute, an eight-week program held at the IU Bloomington and IUPUI campuses, enrolls select MSI and IU students from our partner institutions.
